Stewart’s Deliveries is a family owned and operated trucking company which was established in 1990 based out of a small garage on Bridge Street in Niagara Falls. The company originally started out with purchasing (1) one ton truck hauling stone and top soil around the Niagara Region. Within a few years the company expanded and became incorporated in 1992. It was around this time that the company expanded its fleet and purchased a five-ton straight truck in order to transport building supplies for a local lumber yard in Niagara Falls.
As the years went by the company started hauling general freight in Southern Ontario and the United States. It wasn’t long before Stewart’s Deliveries was being asked to transport larger and heavy loads. To keep up with the ever-changing economy and the needs of our customers, the company once again added to their fleet. It was at this point that we purchased our first tractor trailer and two new heavy duty straight trucks.
It wasn’t long before a decision had to be made in regards to hauling top soil and stone. It was apparent that the demand for carrying heavy loads for our customers was superceding the demand for top soil and stone. It was at this time with a heavy heart we made a decision to relinquish our seasonal trucking of these products in order to focus our undivided attention to heavy hauling.
With the growth of our company branching out into heavy hauling in 2006, we decided that it was time to look for a location that could accommodate our larger equipment. We were very fortunate to find a shared facility with another trucking company working out of St. Catharines, Ontario. It was at this location that our company grew to the point that we needed to look for our own facility that we could call our own and put down permanent roots.
In 2010 we purchased a facility in Welland, Ontario. Since moving to our new permanent facility, we have expanded our fleet and have upgraded our equipment.
